The job of Operations Analyst will involve the following main duties:

  • Production of both internal and external Management Information packs
  • Requirement gathering from senior management and client stakeholders
  • Liaising with Business Intelligence Analysts, IT, Client Accounts, Management and Client Directors to ensure that new client’s needs are met prior to going live
  • Resolving queries regarding payments, data and the system from internal and external stakeholders
  • Reconciliation of client data against internal data in order to identify discrepancies between the two and resolve them
  • Updating and maintaining the system
  • Ensuring data accuracy with regular CDA report checking
  • Adhoc reporting requests and client meetings
  • Production of client invoices

For your application to be successful for this Cardiff based Operations Analyst role, your CV should demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as an Operations Analyst within the contact centre, insurance or FCA regulated environment
  • Superb communications skills - listening and acting upon information given
  • Problem solving skills - finding innovative solutions to a variety of different problems
  • Strong numerical interpreter
  • Excellent attention to detail and analysis skills. Someone who questions when data is incorrect and seeks to find out why would be a real strength for this role
  • Excellent IT and keyboard skills, with a very strong understanding of Excel and MS Expressions. The ability to use Excel to an advanced level would be beneficial
  • Good time management, with the ability prioritise your workload on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Flexible in your working hours to cover business needs
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to interact with a number of internal stakeholders and clients at all levels
